Turtle Beach Headphones.... Try 'em? Like 'em? What you think of them...

Well long story short, I keep seeing the advertisement for their headphones on hulu... I must say I owned a turtle beach santa cruz PCI sound card back in the day and it was hands down the absolute best sound card I ever had, full 5.1 hardware support and easy setup and installation without any extra software.

I absolutely HATED how creative labs pushed their audigy sound cards and other products and then I found out later that they only supported the full 5.1 surround via their software emulation... because of all that crap I refuse to buy any creative product ever again.

So this brings me to their headphones... I currently utilize the Klispch Pro Media gaming earbuds but I am looking for a set of earbuds with good quality audio for music with nice base as well as vocals, I can't remember the name brand but I tried a pair of high quality headphones that had a very nice high gauge (shielded?) cable, even had quick disconnect in the case of snags & a extension cord.... I really wish i remembered what those headphones where but I cannot remember they where earbuds which I prefer over the big CUP style headphones...

Anyone try the turtle beach headphones? Impressions? suggestions? maybe recommend me something similar to the product described above which I cannot remmeber the name...

I simply refered to them as that because thats what the marketing label is, I think I know where you're coming from in that a real audiophile person would dismiss the label and know the . My post simply focused more on finding a good set of earbuds that met my requirements and because of my fondness of turtle beach santa cruz I thought maybe their headphones would be comparable..... so im looking for inputs... of ppl who have tried them..
