Turntables? Need home audio advice.

My girlfriend and I have quite a few vinyls between us, however we dont have a turntable. I have no idea what to spend on one or what models are considered good. Anyone know where to read reviews on these? Sony is preferred since we have Sony tapedecks/cd decks.
 
If you have budget separates, a budget turntable is fine - you can pick up a Sony one new or ebay for not much $$. If you have decent separates, look into getting a Rega turntable, Rega 2 or 3 are pretty much the best sensible budget turntables out there for the money. Expect to pay $300-500 for one though.
