Anyone know where I can find a solid, reliable and good sounding turntable? Doesn't have to be new or good looking. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I am probably going to get one online but Froogle isn't doing me any favors. Just as a side question, are all good turntables like 500 dollars? I was trying to find one for less than that. Direct Drive too, preferably.
My late 1970's Sony receiver with a DUAL turntable plays 78's.Originally posted by: CorCentral
Speaking of turntables, any good ones that play 78's anymore or they all just yuppie models?

Find a quality old turntable. It'll be better than most new ones.

For entry level, few can beat the Goldring GR1.2 Turntable.
