turning the P5Q-PRO into maximus 2 formula

hi i have a question here...is it possible for me to flash the p5q pro with the maximus 2 formula bios? if possible, how do i go abt doing it?

I doubt you can do it -- The flash program would just give you an error saying the BIOS file is not compatible ..

Why would you want to do this -- ?

I'm guessing it's to unlock more or higher OCing/overvolting options? I'm also not sure why someone would want to do this.

The "basic" settings that the board comes with (especially if you move the "redlining" jumper on the board) are more than high enough to kill your CPU, board, or RAM as it is.

after looking at the bios of the p5q pro i have also came to realized the OC options are more than enough..thanks for replying
