Can't say anything of value was lost here. Conservatives are going to get a lot of Americans killed with their anti-science selfishness and they're fine with that because they're selfish pricks.

edit: Here's a better picture of the tweet tpusa sent:

I find myself troubled by Karma.
If I dare relish in anyone dying of COVID, or Cancer as a better example, am I not due for some Karma of my own?
The thought gives me pause whenever I think of dancing on anyone's grave, or wishing them ill.

Fine. Keep filling their graves or until they pull heads from asses.

Either way relieves us of their stupidity

for those who don't read the entire article, it should be duly noted that TPUSA is the same group that Trump had a rally with in Phoenix just days after the Tulsa rally.

Jim Jones has nothing on Trump.

Killing your own supporters seems like a weird strategy. Didn't work for Jones, so I don't know if it will for Trump either.

That's an interesting point, and something I had to think about. But I think as you've stated it, it depends on how superstitious one is, how much one believes in semi-mystical things like 'karma'. Otherwise it's just a matter of trying to be consistent in your ideas, because it feels uncomfortable otherwise.

On reflection, the way I see it is, I'm OK with having little sympathy for misfortunes suffered by people I am 100% certain would show no sympathy for me in some sort of equivalent reversed situation. I think that probably applies to something like this. In mocking and deriding mask-wearing they are increasing the risk that my elderly relatives will die. Why should I care any more about their wellbeing than they do about mine?

I don't relish it, as we always have to remember there are people that cared for that person who are hurting.

However I have approved of a number of obituaries.

No need to fret, they died for their cause. We also shouldn’t be dancing on their graves because unlike a suicide bomber, the casualties and people affected could continue to grow.

You might be due to die of the Trump Plague anyways.

I sometimes feel the schadenfreude, but I denounce it in myself. It's not how I want to be. I firmly believe that what goes around comes around, that being an asshole will come back on me so I try to avoid it. It's unfortunate, but that's exactly what's happening to Trumpsters. Maybe they'll learn through suffering with the rest of us.

Was that the one with the college kids at the church?
