Turning on a computer through the internet

I just finished building my system with and asus a8v mobo and athlon 64 3500+. I know that my ethernet controller has the feature of turning on my compute over the network. I just don't know how to do it. My primary goal is to be able to boot it up from school so I can access the gentoo linux through SSH. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance.
