You can teach a screen saver new tricks. If you?re concerned about others accessing your computer files when you?re not around, but don?t have time to keep turning the computer on and off, you can password protect your PC screen saver so that only you can deactivate it. To do so, go to the Control Panel (click Start, then select Settings, Control Panel) and double-click on Display. Select the Screen Saver tab and check the Password Protect box.
Damn, they must think everyone on the internet is a n00bie...
Morons...
You can easily not buy into bullsh!t that is made for newbies! To avoid the crap that companies are trying to pull "newbies" into, simply, do not look at the ads or click on them. Doing so could harm you for life. Take a look at poor jimmy. He clicked on a link that was about understanding privacy, but he never did get it, and eventually locked himself out of his computer because he used one too many protective measures. Funny enough, he had to hire a hacker so he could actually use his computer again. Later on poor jimmy got accomidated with his computer, and really liked it. Well, he put security system on it (hey, so it was made for a car, but it'll work here?) and was in the process of installing. Apparently in that big box in the back with all the cords sticking out was a 3 prong outlet so he could plug his new "mackdaddy" of a security system in. Tisk Tisk... Those coils inside are deadly and pack a punch. His room-mate found him on the floor, with a queer smile on his face, and one hand down his pants. He was prononced dead on the scene.
