Turning off HD

Go a Win2K system that has a 30 gig HD and a 2 gig HD. I use the 2 gig for backing up file. However, it is running all the time. Is there a way to turn it off and on without opening the box?

don' think so, you would have to kill power to it,

you could use the standby feature.... after about 30 minutes.. it will stop the disks..

yes, that's probably what I want to do is power it off -- but in the Control panel allows you to do that, but for all the drives, not selected ones.
