Turning off autorun in XP

Am I the only one that hates autorun? Anyhow, how do I turn it off in WinXP?

Look for a program called Customizer XP. I don't know the link or anything, may even find it in the forum, but there's a whole lot of options you can set for XP.. autorun being one of them (and I turn it off). It's nice to pop in your CD and not have to wait 20 seconds to use it and have it pop up a screen you never wanted in the first place.

It's still in the same place. Right click on the drive in explorer, properties, its the middle tab.

Without editing the registry this is how u do it.

Start/RUN
gpedit.msc

under computer configuration/Admin templates/Systems
ENABLE - turn off Autoplay
