I typed up my term paper MLA style and have to turn it in 2 hours from now. Should I create a cover page to go on top, and if so, what format? From what I've seen MLA doesn't do cover pages, but I dunno. Also, should I get one of those plastic paper protector folders to turn it in in?

The teacher did not specify any of this and to be honest I doubt he cares, but this is 25% of my grade so I guess better safe than sorry.

1) How long is it? If over 6 pages or so, I would do a cover sheet for sure.

2) Why not? Can't hurt.

of course, do it. might not always be required but it usually looks nicer and can never hurt you.

I was an econ major. I used to put a cover sheet on every formal assignment. I don't know about binding it. Is it a large class? If so, don't bind it because the teacher will be pissed off about that one student who's making it so that the papers can't be stacked neatly.

If it's a dozen people in an upper level class, why not? Presentation might count for something.

I would do a cover sheet but skip the binding. It might be an annoyance to the prof if hes trying to stack/file all his assignments
