Turning graphics card off to use intel hd graphics?

I'm forgetting what the technology is called, but how can I do it on my desktop ?

I currently have a 3930k and 780 but I'll be selling the motherboard and 3930k because they don't have integrated graphics and this chip runs hot regardless.

I still want to be able to use the card for gaming... I turned off gpu usage in chrome, that's helped calm the card down. But the CPU is still sitting at low 50s at idle with a megahalems....

Wow.... still the same CPU usage, but the graphics card doesn't end up running at full 3d clock speeds when watching a youtube video...., instead it's running at the regular power savings speed of 324mhz... and using about 35% on a 720p video. Running much cooler.

Youtube videos are now running on html5. Other video sites will still use flash when needed. And my VRam isn't being eaten up by chromes bugs.... wonderful. Now for the damn chip.

Hmm I will have to look at that, not sure if it applies to the 3930k since it doesn't have VGA out (I havn't read it yet at all, I might be completely off).
