Think past it and live while you can.

On a related note, i'll turn 30 in less than 15 years.

The day you turn 30, you will fart...and dust will shoot out of your ass like it was shot from a propane-fueled potato gun. Moses himself will appear to you in a vsion and recite the 10 Commandments in alphabetical order. The Pope will appear to you in a fever-induced pathogenic hallucination and give you the six Powerball numbers.

But you'll be unable to find any of those tickets; all b/c you turned thirty years old. Welcome to the beginning of the end, you old fckcers. :p

Sigh. . .

Think of it this way, you can buy the Porsche now instead of waiting until you're 45.

:) now there's a way to look at aging.

I like your outlook. When you're within a couple years, if you can still hold this point of view you'd be far ahead of most poeple. I know many (not to mention myself) that are aproaching 30, and not taking it too well.

All I can really say is party and have as much fun as you can now. Once you start getting closer to being a real actual adult, things just aren't as fun anymore. You'll try to party, and you won't enjoy it. Then when you're sitting around not doing much you'll miss partying.

I'm at that age where doing young stuff no longer pleases me, but I'm not quite ready to settle down, so I'm kind of in no man's land.

I'm 30 in 46 days (hence the 9/8/74 in my name). It's weird, 13-18 seemed longer than 18-30. I do not feel 30 at all (except when I see stupid 21-year-olds out in public - stupid haircuts, faded jeans, tats, acting real cool, thinking they're cool that they can drink beer. Makes me want to punch them in the nose). OK, maybe I am old. :)

Hmmm...hasn't seemed like my tastes have changed that much over the years. One change I did notice when I hit 30 was that it struck me that I pretty much never felt sore the next day any more, no matter what I did physically. Around 35 was interesting physically, because all of my old injuries (knee problems, damaged nerves where I'd had my ankle rebuilt, etc.) all spontaneously healed up while I wasn't paying attention. Can't say that I noticed any obvious physical changes when I passed 40, though. Guess we'll see what comes next.

I'm a bit younger than you, but this is exactly how I feel.

The teen years did seem to last a long time, but the years between 20-25 seemed to fly by. It's kind of disturbing to think about things that I did 3 or 4 years ago and it only seems like a couple of weeks have passed.

I'm sure my late 20s will go by even faster and next thing I know I'm in my mid 30s.

When I go out lately to have some drinks and such... I find myself completely disgusted by all the dumb moronic little kids all over the place, and I'm not too much older than they are. I was right there with them just a few years ago. There's also the whole generation gap thing and liking different music, styles of clothes...etc.... It all realy just boils down to the fact that I'm getting old. Bleh!!
