Turniing Off ICS in XP SP2

I've been getting these IPNATHLP errors (EventID 32003). I did the Google thing and read that turning off Internet Connection Sharing solved the problem for most people. It's probably something in my configuration that I cannot figure where to turn it off. Currently, the windows firewall is disabled in favor of NAV, also I'm running a NET framework. So, the short question is in my title, how do I turn off ICS in WindowsXP with sp2 installed?

It's under Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services.

It's listed in there among the dozens and dozens of MS CPU hogs.

God bless MS. Got a problem? Add another subroutine. <sigh> I guess I was never good at modularizing my programs, I felt it took away some from the flow of a properly working algorithm. Anyways, I turned it off but was forced to turn off the firewall as well. I guess there's just a big body of knowledge on networking that I lack understanding in refernce to.

Thank you very much for the reply. I'm sorry to post a software question in the HW forum, but when I thought about posting the query to Anandtech I think of this forum.

EDIT: Minor grammer.

Winkey+R services.msc

There's lots of stuff you can turn off if you don't need. Wireless Zero Config for example. (Assuming you don't use wireless)
