Turn signals - why do so many people don't use them?

I don't understand it either. I see it all the time where people don't want to let me pass them or merge or whatever. When people pass me I don't mind. I don't try to block people from going wherever. I think it is a form of mental illness. Also causes symptoms like driving slowly in the left lane and an inability to drive in a straight line without wandering across the line. Sad and dangerous..

I don't care much either way.. I put on my signal and wait for them to accelerate or slow down. Do agree on people's tendency to speed up when you put your signal on, it's a mental thing. Could also be a result of a few a-holes out there that like to get into your lane and then slow down for no reason.
