I have a 1999 S-10. The other day I flipped on my left turn signal and noticed that the clicking, turning sound was way faster than usual. I turned on my right signal to compare just to make sure and sure enough... it was normal. Being the sheer genius that I am, I deduce that one of the left signals must be out. So when I stop driving I get out to check the left turn signals. The rear left was out.
I come back from the store with 2 new bulbs and carefully replace the defective one. I test the signal... and it's blinking, and the turning sound is back to normal. Great.
Three hours later it goes out again. I replace with the extra bulb that I had. Works.
One hour later it's dead.
...
I went back to the store to double-check the catalog to make sure I have the right bulb number and I do.
What can I determine from this? Any ideas is appreciated.
