Go to network settings, advanced, and enable firewall. After this your system will stop crashing due to rpc error. From what ive read on the net, someone is trying to hack into our computers which are on cable modems or some internet connection using a vulnerability in windows RPC. I just turned on the firewall and it stopped rebooting itself. They say there is a patch for this somewhere at microsoft.

Had you done your Windows Update Cfritical Security patches any time in the past 3 weeks - this would be a non-issue. Lesson learned! Check that once a week. Then keep your AV DAT files updated weekly.
