Turn on Aero when using battery

Hi,

Aero works great when I am connected to the AC.

But when I switch to battery Vista turns it off.

How can I turn it back on.

The normal going to appearance menu doesnt work, no aero option exists.

Thanks.

Change the power profile to High Performance maybe?

Tried that,

And manually turning all power saving off.

Aditionally Vista wont run the performance indicator check when on battery, it tells me to connect to the AC.....

That makes sense considering most laptops throttle down when on battery. You would get a lower than usual score.

Theres an advanced button in the power settings. You might find something in there about Aero.
