Turn off 'who is online', turn on thread summary?1

Is it possible to enable the thread summary option in VB? It would be nice to be able to mouse-over a thread and see the first few lines.

Furthermore, the who is online feature is patently useless at the bottom and probably chews up resources needlessly.
