Turn off transcoding in Windows Media Center

Running Windows 7 and just wondering if anyone knew of any way to turn off the transcoding on the fly it does when streaming video. Thanks.
 
Just curious, how are you streaming video? I know that I used Win7 Media to stream video to my PS3, but the PS3 still has to support the file format in order to play it. Maybe the device your streaming to doesn't natively support the files your streaming?
 
I definitely get some fairly poor transcoding results going from Win 7 Media Center to the 360. No clue how to turn it off tho 🙁

Streaming the video from a PC to an Xbox 360. The format (.avi with .divX and .AC3) is supported. I can play it back through Tversity with the transcoder turned off and it looks great, but if I try to stream it through Media Center, it's choppy and stuttering cuz it wants to transcode it for some reason (probably thinks it should be .h264 and .mp4).
 
Try streaming it with Media Player instead of Media Center? I have Windows 7 and just use Windows Media Player to stream video to my 360. It's pretty painless.
