Turn off request response by default in outlook?

Is there a way to do this?

Every time you create a new meeting request by default request response is on. Is there a way to turn that off in the settings?

I couldn't find any way to do it. Not even a mention of a Registry patch.

I have not tried this.
But, it sounds like the second option is what you want.
