So I forgot a frozen turkey out on the counter over night (12 hrs ish) Can I re-freeze it? If not is it still safe to cook? Never had to deal with a turkey before *sigh* It is in the fridge now.

OKay so that is pretty much a no on the re-freezing. Now is it still safe to cook? (oven not fryer) I got 1 no so far....

Poor turkey :(

You shouldn't, expecially with turkey. I would toss it simply because you thawed it at room temperature.

You could always just save it to put into the next car that steals your parking space.

How big is it? Turkeys take so long to thaw, there is now way it wasnt still frozen on the inside. Just fridge it until thanksgiving.

I would toss it, I would not risk the chance of getting food poisoning.

Do not refreeze poultry. It'll keep for 3-5 days after completely thawed in the fridge though. I would cook it, then freeze the meat.

it is fine
just cook it in the next day or two

and use a thermometer, as long as it gets hot in the middle, you'll be fine
