----Turkey Prep Question

Just bought a fresh 10lb turkey. It was never frozen.

Should I put it in the freezer? Not going to be cooking it till Friday? Thought the amount of time I'd have to defrost it, it would sort of cancel out the amount of time it would sit in the freezer getting frozen?

Leaving it in the fridge uncooked would be bad. What other alternatives do you have?

Put in a large container with some ice packets. Set it some were cool, it'll defrost.
