Turboserver green aluminum case,420 WTT PS $84.99 AR @ Fry's

Looks like a Chieftech/Antec clone. Has the large side window, 2 rear mount 80mm fans, 420 watt ATX 2.03 AMD Athlon XP and Pentium 4 approved power supply. A few weeks ago these were $99 after a $15 MIR . Can't seem to linkify...try this L.A. Times link:newspaper ads then click technology and finally Fry's. My linking skills need work, sorry. Ghoulish green case for halloween,lol.

Didn't see it in the ad on latimes...is this only available in green? I would be all over this if it were black...

Yes, I saw only the green. I checked the Fry's ads Sat. (26th) night, early Sun. a.m. Seems Fry's has been rotating the different colors of these cases, on the ads. Silver, blue, BLACK. Actually they all looked pretty good when I saw them at the store. Just depends on your preference. I had recently bought from Newegg & am very pleased with the blue. Temps are pretty decent with 4 fans going. This is $15 less than I've ever seen them (at Fry's) & with a 420WT power supply. I usually check the Orange County Register's "my OC.com". Both that paper & the L.A. Times have "newspaper ads that will list the daily Fry's ad, ("cept Thurs. no ad). They also had a combo I know some buddies could use for $109. An MSI KT266a pro(?) & an Athlon XP 1800+ for $109. Even though it's a little older, not bad for the price with a CPU. That CPU is currently $74 on Pricewatch. Good luck to all. Just avoid the little white "returned stickers on some items if you can. Why take a chance on a return if you don't have to?

That link from outpost is probably the same exact case. BUT, the price is different at Fry's brick and morter. THIS WEEK they have the green(only) at a reduced price of $99 less a $15 MIR=$84.99. Just about every week they reduce the price on a different color of this case. I've seen the blue, silver etc. on sale recently. Hope that cleared it up for you. It's actually a very awesome case, lots of space, fans, big ass window. I can't vouch for the power supply, as I had my own.

This week Fry's (friday) ad has the silver one on sale. Same deal , just different color.

Seems if you're lucky, you can find the cases with 2 front USB ports. The display models at the local Fry's did not have them, nor does the box mention anything about them, but the one I purchased today had the 2 ports. Makes the deal a little bit hotter if you pick the right one.

Awesome case. My system temps dropped 5 degrees C. Plenty of room and easy to work with.
