Well, its' free to do your taxes, but there's a $6.95 filing fee. Still a tremendous deal. I did this last year and had my refund 6 days after filing!!

Once you have completed both your federal and state taxes, it will tell you that you have to pay to file through them. It's nothing big. Considering you can set up direct deposit and do both Federal and State very quickly, it's a deal.

If fact I'm finishing mine up today! :D Money for upgrades, here I come!

Cool !
This looks like a Wingspan Bank promo.
If you go through your link it shows up free.

If you go through the Turbotax page it shows what real fees would be HERE

Ahhh....I just caught that too!! Does this mean you have to bank with them to get it free?

OK, I just tried to file mine through the wingspan link and it still said I needed to pay the $6.95. Oh well. I'd still highly recommend this to anyone!

Actually TurboTax has the same offer. It's probably some Federal regulation that states if your income falls under that level it's free.

There actually IS a website which offers free electronic tax filing. I filed last year through them and also used to own some of their stock. Their tax form is REALLY simple and walks you completely through the filing process. Check it out here.

Yes, it is completely free. I just did this a few days ago, and noticed that they never did ask me for any money or credit card information. Took me about 15 minutes to do my taxes, and both have been accepted already.

$2500 back from the gubment.

Oh well. Its sposed to be free, thanks to wingspanbank.com :) those nice guys who just raised the banking fees, can eat this fee.

Thanks RR. I almost filed from the Wells Fargo link where they only offer 25% off the regular price.

Slick! I've paid $20-$60 a year for TurboTax. Now $0. And who cares if they have my financial info. There are no account numbers in your taxes, and everyone has you SSN anyway.
