Turbo boost vs overclock

Playing planetside 2, i get only 40-45 fps maxed out during big battles and its too low for me. I currently have my i5 3570k turbo booster to 4.2ghz and was wondering if manual overclocking would provide greater performance or is 40-45 fps all i can get? I have msi 7950 oced to 1025mhz and 1350mhz +20% power.
 
What are your CPU temps like while under stress? If they aren't too high you should be able to squeeze a little more out of the chip however probably only 5% faster than what you have now without heavy duty cooling.

From what I have been reading PS2 isn't very good at using quad core chips. Seems it runs on 2 cores and that is about all you get. Have a look at the PS2 forums for any tips on icreasing FPS.
