Turbine fan

I just bought a itty bitty squirrell cage or turbine type fan. I was wondering if you all thought it would do any good mounting it to blow behind the MOBO by the CPU. it has about 3/8" outlet by around 1 1/4". It puts out some pretty serious air for its size, since its a blower style. Loud of course.

Think I'll get a couple degrees out of it cooling the back of the MOBO, or is it not worth the noise?

Cooling the back of the motherboard in the socket region with forced air has shown little if any improvement in cpu core temperatures.

Do the Turbine fans work good? I see some on other sites, and wondering if they blow a lot....like, enough to warrant a purchase over a regular Thermaltake or so.
