Tunneling won't work for vnc

I setup a ssh server that is accessable to the outside world, it has a VNC server which works great locally. When I tunnel it from external, it wont work. It connects, but says "the server closed the connection unexpectedly. do you wish to reconnect?". If I tunnel locally it works ok but not from outside world.

Got it working. Has to be localhost, and not the local IP that server, when specifying tunnel destination. Think it would come up to same thing though.
