Tunneling in win2k help!

Hello,

I run a web/FTP server that uses win2k server. Instead of having to switch my KVM all the time (I refuse to use a KVM switch, since they ALL suck ass), I'd like to know how to setup some kind of "remote desktop" to use from my PC to the server. I know 2k server has something built in, and I'd like to have that explained (a web link perhaps?). However, any other options are encouraged.

Thanks all,

Lx

It's called terminal server. Browse to control panel, add/remove programs, click on add/remove windows components and choose Terminal Services, don't install the licensing option. You'll have two options after the install begins: administration/application mode, choose administration. After it's installed you'll need to download a small client in order to connect to the server.

Hey man, thanks a TON..that worked great. One thing tho - since my PC has XP, with remote desktop built in, I didn't need to install the client software. It took me like 5 mins to set this up. Now, no more switching my mouse/keyboard/monitor anymore.

Thanks again!
