Looks badass, hopefully it'll compete with the TRUE and Mega.

Look for reviews now. It doesn't perform as well as the TRUE.

For a top tier cooler where the next step is water cooling capacity is extremely important as is placing a good conductor in contact with as much flat pipe area as well as IHS area as possible. This design falters in both crucially important areas!

Well it's not a scam in the fact that it does work - just not efficiently particularly for higher end systems with large surface areas. If they stuck with a machined base with six bonded heat pipes they'd have a chance of staying in the race dominated by TRUE and Megahalems heatsinks.

It's interesting that no one ever mentions the Thermalright IFX-14. That is probably the #1 air cooler to date.
XbitLabs - IFX-14 #1
MadShrimps - IFX wins
Digit-Life - IFX 14 wins

But ya it does limit your ability to use ram with taller heatsinks like Patriot Viper series or OCZ Reaper, etc.
CrazyPC has this cooler for cheaper than the TRUE which makes it worthy of consideration for those looking to buy Mega, TRUE and whatever else for $60+.
