Tuniq Tower and compatability on what C2D mobos

That's great news. I don't think anyone's released an HSF that can beat the Tuniq yet, unless you count that crazy peltier hybrid.

It fits perfectly on a aw9d-max with no mods

just be warn when taking the backplate off though... it's a super sticky mother... i can't tell you how much pressure i had to use to get it off.

This has been mentioned time and time again. The Scythe Infinity and the Thermalright Ultra-120 are both give and take with the Tuniq. There is no best anymore.
