Hi guys, I have a tuniq on the AR version of the evga 680i board and want to mount it so air is blown up out the 200mm fan on top of my antec 900 case instead of the rear exhaust fan. I have 3 question

1.) WHen mounted this way, the side of base of the tuniq that is on the cpu is touching the two R50 resistor that is right next to the cpu (the resistor seems to have a plastic insulating layer on it). I wanted to know if this is okay b/c this might heat up the reistor a lot.

2.) The tuniq mounts fine and is stabalized on the mobo, however, it is not dead center bc it is touching the two resistor. Would this be okay or would it affect my temperature?

3.) Lastly, how tightly should i tighten the bolts on the tuniq? Do i do it until it gets difficult to turn or just enough to hold the tuniq in place?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Those are probably mosfets in the voltage regulation circuit, not resistors.

I personally wouldn't mess with it. If your heatsink is touching that, it might not be sitting flat on your cpu because of it.
