Tuning a car amp

Yeah so my new amp that power my subs has a bunch of settings and I dunno what I should set them on.

Low Pass Filter: It's on like 110Mhz, shouldn't it be like 80Mhz?

Band Reject: 80 also?

Input Sensitivity: Anyone knows what that does?

Infrasonic: Anyone know about this one either?

Thanks a Lot!

really depends on the sub. The low pass filter will play all frequencies below whatever HZ you set it to. In most cases this will be around 80-100HZ if you are powering subwoofers

Infrasonic is HZ that are too low to be heard by the human ear. Which is around 15HZ

Basically the options are on your amp to allow you to cut out ranges of frequencies that cannot or should not be played by your subwoofer

If you like how it sounds already, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Otherwise, get some measuring equipment.

Should have crossover, which is fine around 120hz, at least that's what sounds good in my car, there is no RIGHT frequency, it's what sounds best to you. GAIN, set it so it balances well with the rest of your music but doens't distort when you turn it all the way up...if you have any questions, PM me, good luck

I chipped one of my incisors on a fork a long time ago. It happened when I bit down on the fork.

WTH?

If you have high quality mids you can drop it to 63 hz. Ive heard many highend setups like this where the mid bass could play clean down to 50hz.
