Took my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee into tunex today to replace a couple of cracked vacuum hoses. I don't have the tools or time to do it myself.

10 hours and $300 later I pick up the jeep and low and behold new problems have magically appeared:

No windows work
Interior lights won't turn off
Center console display showing dashes "--" for everything (eg mpg, temp, etc)
Air conditioning won't work and blows hot air.

What a joke. Didn't realize this until I was pulling into my driveway.

not sure if you are mechanically inclined or not and if you are take a look in the engine compartment where they did the work, if thats where the hoses are located. Sounds like a wire or connector is disconnected somewhere. Tunex is a chain auto repair store....avoid places like this becuase they will hire just about anyone to repair a car...with varying results.

You didn't realize that....

...until you got home? You were driving it back yourself, weren't you?

I'd have not even left the parking lot.

Things like this happen all the time...on another forum a guy left his car with a mechanic for 3 weeks and after washing it on his way home found a bunch of scratches hidden by the dirt...He didn't like the opinions expressed that the car should have been returned cleaned...
