TuneUp Utilities 2012

I'd say ugly :^D

I don't know about this specific package, but I'm distrustful of any software that promises to make things better with a button click. I've never seen them make things better, but I have seen them make things worse, even from respected companies.

Good default action for a modern O/S is to do nothing. They do a pretty good job of taking care of themselves. If you run into problems, or think there's a way to make it better, do it manually. That way you know what's going on, and can fix it if you screw something up.

Tuneup is definitely better than ccleaner. But it takes more time to run through all the stuff. If you only have 5 minutes to make someone's pc run better, ccleaner is a better choice. If you have 20 minutes, tuneup utilities would be better.
