Tuner for XP: Home w/ Component Video input

I'm in the market for an internal TV tuner card for a PC I just built. Unfortunately, I did not invest in MCE, and am operating on XP:Home edition. Many of the tuner cards I've reviewed indicate that they work only with MCE. Furthermore, I need the card to include component video inputs so that I may also attach a game console, and preferably an S-video input as well, though this is of secondary import. Are there any decent cards out there that meet with these specifications? Or, is it possible to use any of the cards designed for MCE w/ XP: Home without serious difficulty? Any answers and/or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

are you sure you don't mean composite? You indicate that s-video is preferable to component, when it would be the opposite.

In your search: note that many gfx/tuner cards actually use one s-video like port for input and output of many different signals.

This is the best capture card that i have used for a reasonable price. It is $200+, but the only card that does component and s-video input without any lag whatsoever.

I could have just been confused. Whichever input is used by most game consoles (the yellow, red, and white inputs) is what I need.

Wow, only $200 for a card that inputs component? That's not bad because last time I checked they were something insane like $800.

yeah, Composite = Yellow (Video) and White/Red (Audio)

Component = Red(Chroma), Green(Luminance) Blue(Chroma) as the 3 videos, and then W/R for Audio

Yea they are awesome cards. I was used to seeing them for 800+ as well. But those cards are an excellent deal. Excellent performance as well. It comes witht he Dscaler software although you can use any other software.
