Tuner card trouble

I bought an avermedia m780 and was using it for 2 days. Suddenly, I stopped getting a feed. Now when I try to start avermediacenter it just crashes. I also tried to check it in GBpvr which was working before, but now it says failed to initialize BDA card when I try to update the EPG. However, under device manager there are no red flags and the device appears to be fine. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling it...so..did the tuner just die ?
