I have been told/heard that Toyota Tundras are not practical for fifth wheel type towing because they don't have heavy duty axles. So the truck can tow around 10,500 (stock) and that basically nothing is gained by a 5th wheel conversion because the axle cannot handle the additional load (directly over the axle) that is gained instead of just pulling it from the trailer hitch. Did i explain that correctly? Can anyone confirm/deny this? (Mine is the 5.7L)
