Tundra engine code

I'm getting a 441 engine code, "EVAP emission control system purge fault"; any idea of what's wrong?

Sounds like either the pump for the evaporation system failed or there is a major leak in a hose.

EGR controls combustion emissions. Evaporative emissions are unburned hydrocarbons from the fuel before it is burned.

It is more than likely that the purge solenoid is not functioning correctly.

A broken hose could cause an idle problem, but a slight crack might not and still trip the code.
