TUNA refridgeration question

gigapet

Lifer
Say I made some tuna fish w/ mayo and mixed it all up in a bowl and then covered the bowl. What would you say the sshelf life is on that tuna fish bearing in mind that it would be kept in a refridgerator the entire time.

How you took this topic from a refrigeration question to the life expectancy of tuna salad is beyond me.

To answer your question, though, it will be good for at least a week as long as it is refrigerated.

Why don't you just eat it all, though?

I don't know how long it will be safe to eat, but, in my experience, it looks like something I'd no longer eat after about an hour and the consistency gets all screwed up overnight. Then it usually sits for at least day or two because I don't want to clean day-old-tuna out of the bowl. Hopefully I catch it on the night before trashnight... otherwise... well...

It's a slippery slope your on my friend, a very slippery slope.
