I wouldn't touch a Seagate/Maxtor with a ten foot pole, THey will all break down especially when capacity is higher,, more platters,,, This is USB 2.0 LMAO soo slow ,, what takes hours on that,, takes 30 min on eSATA ,, this is a pos external

Seagate was good before they hopped in bed with maxtor the worst creator of hard drives,,,

Soo dont be surprised you have 2TB data on it and one day it starts ticking,,

cheap stuff,,, I wouldnt take this thing for free,,, no need..
