Fox is desperate. Their ratings are terrible. All Fox can do is make stuff up and try to shock and divide people. Fox is the only outlet allowing a voice to the republican nutcases, the Trumpie insurrectionist, the looney toons of politics, post Trump administration officials, wacko conspiracy theories, and a lot of plain old stupid. Even the Fox viewers are dropping off because stupid does have its limits. Well, kind of....

Bowtie wearing douchebag has lost it. Love the new maniacal laughter btw. Really helps bring out the creepy asshole in the guy.

The insurrection and Chauvin verdict have pushed his tiny mind past the breaking point. I'm seeing this a lot with right wing racists who reek of fear.

Someone let me know when the magats care as much about democracy being cancelled as they do a fucking ball game being relocated.

The bow tie left him years ago; it no longer wished to be associated with this bed-wetting, bald-faced lying putz.

I think it has signed a new tell-all book deal.

and you are surprised by him, his followers and the network that carries this garbage?
Not in the least. Stupid sells, it gets eye's on the tube and clicks on the website.
Contrary to popular opinion around here, I don't watch Fox news.

Their ratings might be terrible, but they're still number one. That actually surprised me when I just checked.

Tucker Carlson is ground horsemeat. He should be fed to the dogs.

See, Biden should never have gone along with the unmasking of people exercising or who have been vaccinated. He should have advised wearing masks for everyone until herd immunity. This politicizing of mask wearing is fucked. It should be just wear your mask until we're at herd immunity. Yeah, indoors with fully vaccinated people, take them off, cool... but you don't see those people unless you're one of them and if someone's faking it, well, that's on them and shame on them for not getting vaccinated. Don't take the bait. If some jackass asks him what and why just say you heard my position, next question.

He's a rabble-rouser, and he ropes in easily triggered weak-minded snowflake liberals all the time by taking advantage of their inability to control their emotions and feelings, instead of just ignoring him they double down with their cancel culture mentality not realizing they just make him stronger while feeding his base.

Yes, some amazing 5D chess play here..
Or he's a complete crybaby looking for attention.

The fact that he wears that stupid bowtie makes that an obvious conclusion.

Cry more Karens.

You are all terribly wrong. The potato chip order clearly goes:

1) salt and vinegar
2) jalapeño (and jalapeño adjacent flavors)
3) sour cream and onion
4) barbecue
5) plain
6) pledging your soul to Satan
7) all other flavors

Close, you have #1 and #2 mixed up.
All bow to the rule of jalapeno

Disagree. Biden should be following the best science at all times.

Advocating mask wearing for fully vaccinated people while outside is not good science and would be politicizing.

Even then CDC is being very cautious.

The problem is that you're leaving it up the John Q Public to decide and to say you can't trust him is a sick understatement. You see the outside videos of people shoulder to shoulder cavorting in places like Florida and realize those people are out of control. We're playing with fire with this virus. I'm fine with the science, but our populace often is ignorant of it and willfully. I think Biden should just take a tough position on it, publicly, and when button-holed by reporters say "you've heard my position, next question."

This is the ideology ....

“I’m not really avoiding the vaccine due to potential medical complications, or because of the speed with which it was produced.
Personal liberty is not the reason I’m avoiding it, either. . .

My primary reason for refusing the vaccine is much simpler: I dislike the people who want me to take it, and it makes them mad when they hear about my refusal. That, in turn, makes me happy. . I have decided that because the vile political Left, which I despise in the abstract, wants me to take their coveted vaccine, I simply will not. .

My newly formed and well-developed opinion on vaccines is this: if those bastards want me to get the jab, I’m not going to do it, because it annoys them.
Perhaps you think I’m being obtuse. I do not care.”

I'm sure this dipshit has all of his childhood vaccinations...

Hey, you know what else, i'm sure would makes "the left" mad? Punching yourself in the face repeatedly.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! Pwning "da libs" is more important than your own health. Not really new. In the last 20 years or so, Republicans have demonstrated for years that they were willing to destroy the country just to upset their political opponents.

I prefer the term consequence culture. You do or say something publicly and depending on the content you may experience backlash.
It may affect your job, relationships, standing in your community, so own it or apologize and bear the brunt.
Its pretty simple

I suspect Fox News is #1 for the same reason McDonalds is the #1 restaurant chain by sales. Ask yourself, what happens to your body on a diet of strictly McDonalds?

They are #1 because there's multiple non-conservatives major news networks. If you add up CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS which are generally viewed as being equally liberal/neutral, versus just Fox which is viewed as being heavily conservative vs liberal or neutral, Fox gets destroyed. Fox is the only major news outlet serving up conservative bullshit on a platter.

(and yes, I know you know this @HomerJS )

Uhm, yeah that's a funny article. But that must be satire? There's no way that's real? Sure trumpers are dumb enough to think that way, but they'd never articulate it. And wouldn't put it out there.

See, I think you have to trust people. The president's job should be arming them with the best information, setting a good example, and providing support as needed.

I think it's dangerous to force people into behaviors unsupported by science unless it's a truly dire emergency. Anything less and it undermines trust and acceptance.

That's the mistake Trumpo made, but in the other direction. He lied, he undersold, he undercut his own scientists and forced changes not based on science.

Then when it came to pushing to open schools for example, who trusted the CDC guidelines that had been tampered with? Ultimately it was fairly low risk, but all the lies and mistrust defeated the effort until Biden was sworn in and we had a new CDC head.

I think Biden should say "wear your mask until herd immunity unless you're indoors in your bubble or with people who are vaccinated." I'm not envisioning this be enforced, just officially advised. You're trusting JQ Public too much. JQP a lot of the time doesn't know what the president is saying. You and I can parse the CDC guidelines, but the general public? Not so much. People see that the folks they were seeing in the street wearing masks and suddenly not wearing masks. Sends what message? Guess the pandemic is history, people are vaccinated now, no worries, fogetaboutit.

Post-Trump conservative logic: voluntary mask wearing and people choosing how to spend their money are tyranny, but govt agents murdering "undesirable" citizens in the streets is essential to liberty! And it's all the libtards' fault!
