For the most part Tucker is correct. That isn't to say that there is zero impact, zero loss of life due to extremist white supremacists, but they represent almost nothing, almost no harm in the grand scheme of things. The left just likes to make a bogyman to fear to exploit for votes.
Meds. You are off your meds again.

So in Tucker's mind there's about as many white supremacists as there were Al-Qaeda or ISIS? Am I reading that right?

What was the response to those other groups again? I can't quite recall.

It always is amazing how Republicans constantly complain about identity politics while pretending not to notice that’s their entire party platform at this point.

You can be sure that if a Republican is complaining about something it is because they know it happens since they are doing it. They all assume that since they do it so must everyone else. They can not believe they are the bad guys so they have to assume that everyone else is just as bad as them.

I wonder why Fox hasn't set up their own social media sites.

No one on the right is technologically savvy enough. The Conservatives are just now figuring out Twitter.

We killed their foot soldiers while sleeping with their king. At least we're being consistent here.

I don't think it's that's right, there have actually been a number of attempts by conservatives to mimic mainstream social media platforms like Gab and Voat. They just haven't proven to be very popular because...well... most people aren't crazy.

I'd like to see a poll among FOX viewers as to how many of them actually believe the blatant lies Tucker crapped out of his face in this regard.

I'm thinking it must be as wishfully high as Trump's approval numbers that their party members keep giving him.

The idea that only if there is less than a football stadium sized number of dangerous people should they be considered a threat is asinine. Did he not forget what like 10 guys did on 9/11 and the massive loss of life they created? I think he basically is trying to quietly argue that white supremacy isn't a general threat... to whites.

I'm surprised Fox hasn't fired him yet as he becomes progressively ridiculous in his positions. I would expect him to next deny the existence of the holocaust or japanese internment camps and to begin calling 9/11 an inside job.

We were going to spend every $ in the defense budget to eradicate them.

Good thing MSNBC and NBC are telling us that Trump is sending coded messages to White Supremacists via flags at half mast and he is wanting to exterminate Hispanics.

Apparently, from CNN, they asked 8 different Fox sources to comment on tucker Carson's claims that white supremacy, is a hoax. No one commented. From Hope Hicks to Murdoch and son.
Just so happens that tucker Carson is now on vacation until, 8-19.
Coincidence?

He did laugh at the suggestion that we shoot Mexicans and said that was ok in the panhandle. I guess that's acceptable Presidential behavior for you.

Yeah, while I wouldn't completely rule out an actual vacation (August is the time of year for it), Fox has a history of 'conveniently' putting hosts on vacation the moment after they say or do something horrible.

Let's just hope it's like O'Reilly's break and he never comes back.

Tucker Carlson and @SlowSpyder parrot each other.

The rest of us are the real problem. I believe we have been told "if you stop talking about racism and white nationalism it will just go away."

I spent most my life thinking it no longer existed in any meaningful way. An ancient relic of a bygone era. With only a handful of crazies following it.

That's the thing, growing up where I did in California was sort of a bubble. Isolated from the rest of America's problems. Before social media, such "isolation" made things in history books seem small and quite distant. If only because we never came into contact with it. The internet has changed that. In my mind this plague started after I formed my more... positive view of modern America, it re-surged at the dawn of social media.

They worm their way into appearing normal, but then point towards and scapegoat "others". Like Trump, people ID with him... then the Ego transforms witless Republicans into Trump lapdogs. Excusing all sorts of behavior. I am afraid the same process occurs with White Nationalist groups when they are able to spread a message. People find some way to connect to, and share an identity. Then they'll start making excuses for said groups as they show their... true colors.

Human tribalism is so... weird in the way it spreads. It defies logic as I know it. Once that connection is made via ID, Ego will let people will debase themselves all to "win" a game of partisanship. They gloss over their team and fixate on the evils of their opponents. Trump could murder someone on live TV, but at least he isn't a Democrat. It's insanity. But so terribly human too.

Hard to imagine we were, or ever could be, better than this.

Isn't Tucker the Racist for bringing it up?
From what was said by a commentator in the CNN interview/panel tonight, apparently the people that frequent The Daily Stormer, say that Tucker is "their" guy.

Not a chance, like Jeanine Pirro, he will be back, he's one of Trump's favorites.

Just 73%, that's almost nothing in the grand scheme compared to the 27% committed by the others.

I find it amazing how Fox News can twist a subject to fit their agenda.
When they were going after Obama, it was all second nature for them.
But when defending Donald Trump, those at Fox pull off some pretty incredible stunts.
Fox really could claim the sky is not blue or that the earth is not round, and Fox would put forth the reasoning to support their claim. And would put forth that reasoning with a straight face.
Maybe someone needs to dissect one of those Fox News anchors. You know, like we dissected a frog back in science class.
See that makes them tick. Or see if they are really human at all.
