Trump wades into this hot mess by:

A) Blaming Minneapolis’ radical left mayor for the violence
B) Threatening (?) to call the National Guard (after the Governor already did)
C) Ending his tweet with “Once the looting starts, then the shooting starts!
D) All of the above.

He needs someone to filter his tweets for sure.

You probably meant Pravda, but what do you know. Clinton was supposed to win big. She didn't. So then all of a sudden it was Russia!

Again with the lol. You are entitled to your opinion.

You call Trump a fascist. Facebook deletes Michigan protest groups. A twitter employee deleted Trump's account. Who are the real fascists?

Guess the two private companies behind Facebook and Twitter?

You should be ashamed of making a false claim. You should apologize.

Overwhelmingly leftist companies that many people get news from that censor what that news may be? Companies that shadow ban people they don't agree with? No, they should apologize. I bet you'd be content living in East Germany with the Stasi reporting who wan't wearing a mask or social distancing right now.

I guess Obama is a conservative/centrist now? How about Tim Pool? He doesn't like republicans but points out how the democrats are moving too far left. I have to admit I think he is a closet Republican though. Now I'm finally off to the tech forums. TTFN

The fact that you actually believe that is beyond stupid. Didn't sound like either was joking to me. Mahr said it time and time again. And since you wanted me to watch a 14 minute video (which I did), why not watch one less than five minutes about how America is pretty awesome?

It must be convenient that when someone you support says something stupid, it's sarcasm. I guess when Trump says stupid things, it's sarcasm as well? You are blinded by your hate and inability to reason. There are two sides to every story. Try reading up on both.

And since you have no proof or reasoning to believe either was sarcastic, you just imply I must be simpleton because it's not your fault "that it's over your head". Great logic there.

That video you linked consists of a guy ranting in response to three social media posts from random nobodies. If I wanted to comb through social media and find three of the absolute most ludicrous posts from right wingers, then make a youtube video to refute them, I'm pretty sure I'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.

You're not actually trying to compare random and anonymous twitter posters with a man who has a national media platform and is watched by millions, are you? You were better off making a comparison with Maher.

On that topic, do you have a video link to him discussing this? I read a couple articles quoting him but it's impossible to tell if it was sarcasm or not without tone and context. I can't seem to find video.

Should've refreshed before posting.

I've not mentioned *45 at all. You really shouldn't complain about arguments when you're not being honest to begin with.

In that spirit, you should apologize to me.

I'm sure if I looked through this forum enough, I'd find some reference to that. I'm not going to waste the time, but if you have not, then fine, I am sorry. But your post history shows nothing but contempt towards the man.

Forget about Cuomo saying America was never great? Oh wait, that was "sarcasm".

So no video link?

So far as Cuomo, I dislike him. I don't even think he's deserves all the praise over his pandemic response because he closed New York too late.

Now was that so hard? It takes a bigger man to accept a smaller man's apology.

If that makes you sleep better at night. I'm sure if I combed through this forum I could find an example.

I saw the Cuomo video. You posted it earlier. I meant Maher. For crissakes. I think Uberneuman has the better approach of how to reply to you.

I mentioned Cuomo, and figured you missed the link. This forum has become a circlejerk. Why else do you think dislikes were abandoned? I don't know how the few people that go against the grain here do it, I never would bother. America was never great. It clearly wasn't just one politician but many Americans believe that.

What would Uberneuman say to that? "lol" or "sarcasm" that I just don't get because I'm a deplorable who actually did not vote for Trump. This time around, I think I will. Why do you think Gen Z is the first generation to be more conservative than the last? The left can't meme. They've seen stupid Millennials cry about safe spaces and the right not to be offended. I will go back to the tech part of this site where I belong.

What a freakin idiot! Fucker Carlson did not even acknowledge that Mr. Floyd was killed by a Police officer! This rioting is not tyranny!
Tyranny is when over the course of many years African Americans are still singled out and oppressed and suppressed and treated differently than any other group of people!
Fox News host Tucker Carlson condemned the protests that have broken out in Minneapolis following the killing of George Floyd by police, claiming on Wednesday night that they are a “form of tyranny” and “oppression.”

With demonstrations growing violent and chaotic as protesters have clashed with riot gear-clad police—who have cracked down on the protesters with tear gas and rubber bullets—Carlson devoted most of his attention to the actions of the demonstrators, who are protesting the death of a black man who was pinned down by a cop.

“So we know that George Floyd died in police custody, and when an investigation is done we will do a lot more,” the conservative primetime host declared “It’s possible that at least one police officer will be charged in the case. So as of tonight, those are the facts. Here’s another fact: What happened last night in Minneapolis was not a political protest—it was a riot.”

While Carlson said that these recent demonstrations against police brutality are riots and not political protests, the Fox News host—who said last summer that white supremacy is a “hoax”—was singing a different tune during the anti-lockdown protests staged by armed, largely white, right-wingers storming the Michigan capitol.

“This is America,” Carlson said at the time. “We’re allowed to disagree with what our leaders do however we like, and we’re allowed to express that disagreement in public.”
What's happening in Minneapolis is about as far as you can get from protesting.

Maybe letting the police do whatever they want for so long almost without question or responsibility to the population that consents to their power was a mistake.

LA partially learned this lesson in 92. Rest of the country catching up now.

Please list the acceptable forms of protest.

Marching - Not acceptable (see Ferguson)
Kneeling - Not acceptable
Exactly! I listened to both FOX and CNN on a split screen almost all day!
FOX played to their white Supremacist base advocating indirectly Police violence against the protestors......FOX even made fun of the CNN reporters who were arrested......this is sadly what our country has become and it aseems like the conservatives are just fine with physically hurting the protestors!

I must say. These modern day protesters don't screw around. They just head straight to the police precinct. Seems they have an appropriate target.
ExaCTLY! The Police are the problem...address the problem directly!

War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.
Protesting the govt is tyranny.
I could tell it's a sincere political protest because they were only burning and looting liquor stores, Dollar stores, Post Offices, Office Depots, McDonalds, Wendys, pawn shops, assorted and various vehicles and any other storefront that looked like it could be profitable and/or fun to loot and burn. The looters/rioters only had the highest of motives for their crimes.
