Tualatins with 512KB cache

Intel says that these chips are for servers only--"These parts are intended for server design applications, which will not work on a standard desktop board." It's hard to see how that can be. I'm currently running a 1.4GHz-S on my Abit BX133 along with an Upgradeware adapter, and it's totally stable. What's Intel up to here?
