Here's a little know fact: Tualatin is a city in Oregon! At least it was little known to me. I ordered some paintball stuff online and thats where it shipped from. Is that what they named those Celerons after? I always wondered where they came up with a name Tualatin. Sounds Russian.

All of Intel's processors are code-named after rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Just so you know.

I believe it was a p3..but remember, celerons are just pentiums with cut down cache and lowered fsb.

with the tualeron intel may not have even bothered giving the celeron version a different code-name. i don't remember one.

Hmm... didn't think of that. Perhaps they've changed their naming scheme now that they're out of the P4 line?

As I understand it, Intel names their projects after the local geography where the design center is. Banias was designed in Israel AFAIK. Someone look Banias up on a map in Israel :)
