I got a 1.2Ghz Tualatin Celeron and PL adapter a few months ago for use with my Abit BX-6(R.2). It works fine except the adapter does not allow for voltage increases which effectively kills O/C'ing possibilities.

I have been involved in a LONG dialog with PL's tech support regarding "rewiring" the adapter to increase the voltage. Finally I got a clear answer:

Hello,
We are currently working on a fix invloving a bios chip. The only thing left to do is to decide on liscensing fees. We should be selling the adapter along with the bios chip within a week or two. For those who already have the adapter, the bios chip should cost between 10 and 15 dollars.

Just a head's up for those who have the adapter. I am still in Hawaii and my desktop is in Cali so it'll be a month or two before I try the upgrade. I am planning to upgrade to Northwood anyway, so may play around with a major Celeratin O/C attempt when I get back.
