TT VolcanoII and processors over 1GHZ

Hi,
On the AMD website, my Volcano2 is safely rated to 1GHZ.
would i be able to cool a faster processor(IE, XP2000) with the volcano2 if i got a 60mm to 80mm fan adaptor and got a high CFM, low noise 80mm fan, to replace the 60mm fan already on it?

Maybe. Just try it and see what your temps are. If you purchase a retail-box Athlon XP you'll find a HSF that looks almost identical to the Volcano II, but with a smaller fan!!! I've seen these up to 1800+. I haven't used any above that speed, so don't know what the 1900/2000/2100+ comes with.
