TT VA3000 Dreamtower - I dig it...

Looks identical to my Tsunami as far as I can tell from the pics.

Downsides I've noticed with my Tsunami:

- No case speaker.
- The front fan is annoying (loud).
- The door should hinge at right instead of left.
- The tooless design of the expansion slot keepers (the green levers) is a joke. they are so weak that even plugging in a usb cable to the port will release them and it is damn near impossible to get a screw in there to secure it.
- The top of the case is a horrible place for ports in my opinion (i removed the port bundle entirely since I have an EXOS up there anyhow).

Other than those few issues it seems to be a sweet case (tsunami) I still don't know of any other differences between the VA3000 and the Tsunami. Fill me in if you are aware of any....

Link is bad, and so is the case. If you really want the 2x 120mm get the antec 160 Text.

EDIT: I said the 180 insted of the 160 by accident.

I just saw one of these at CompUSA yesterday and I have to say it is F'n ugly in person. It looks really cheap and plasticy. I would recommend that you see one of these at a local store before you pull the trigger, you'll see what I mean......

I just got a Tsunami Dream Tower 3000. I really like it a lot. I was a little worried buying it without knowing much about it but I ordered it anyway. It's a great case. Very light, lots of nice features, quiet fans.

I love my Tsunami. It doesn't look cheapy and plasticy...The only downside as said before is that the tooless AGP/PCI thing is very weak. As far as the top USB/Audio cables, just run them behind your motherboard... Anyways, this a very nice case. It is very cool too (as in temps). Personally, I don't think that the fans are loud. You should get this case.

Skybum is correct i have a Tsunami case and everything he says is correct,my thoughts exactly. My next case will be a cooler master wave master

I love my Tsunami. Unless you enjoy trying to break things in your case you shouldnt have any problems with the toolless locks. The front fan is a bit loud, but nothing bad. Also, where i have my Tsunami, the way the door opens is kinda handy, as it sits to the left of me. It's probably the best looking case i've seen also!

BTW, skybum, how do you take that thing on the top off?

I like my Tsunami too and I agree with Skybum in that (a) the fans are LOUD, (b) the top ports are poorly placed and (c) whoever thought of the door opening the way it does must be highly dyslexic.

Cool thanks everyone for the opinions...

Unreal, I have been looking for/at cases for like 3 weeks now and can't make up my mind.

Down to three companies at least: Antec, Tt, and CoolerMaster.

I think I may just get a full tower anyway, especially one that will take BTX.

I have the Tsunami and I like it. All the people who will say don't even consider it haven't used it and are basing their opinion of it off of other Thermaltake products.

It is kinda noisy, but it looks great and has a lot of nice features that even Coolermasters don't. Sure Coolermasters and Lian-Lis are better built, but you pay for that as well.
