Tt hardcano 7 and Tt volcano 9 together?

Does anyone know how to get these 2 to work together? I want to use the fan switch on the hardcano 7 (low/med/high) to operate the fan speed on the volcano 9.

It would work, but you know there is a manual dial on the Thermaltake Smart Fan already. More precise than the hardcano. It would work either way, but I wouldn't buy V9 if you haven't yet. Biggest waste of money I have spent on my comp.

yea i know about the manual dial but its a pain in the a$$ to keep opening my case to change fan speeds :-( I wish you told me about the volcano 9 a couple of weeks ago i wouldnt of purchased it.. LOL.........................

You can just extend the wires out of your case. Should only take 5 mins max and cost you less than a buck for the wire.

I've heard it suggested a few times, and Thermaltake is actually using this on their new abomination, the Volcano 11- Xaser series, is to mount the rheostat to a blank PCI slot case cvoer, and stick it in the back of your case. Even if you mangle it, no one can see 😉

i love my volcano 9... got the thermal sensor on the bottom of the cpu.. no problems even after a couple hours into games... and way easier than playing with the rheo
