The reviewer for Anandtech only has TSMC chip phones on hand from twitter. Wonder if they'll incorporate this into the review because it's a BIG FUCKING DEAL.
Actually, it is not.
First, lets ignore the fact that the data provided is questionable, based on a single sample of each phone running a javascript test on iOS software that is rapidly being updated to fix bugs. And I am not sure where the 2.5 hours of extra time is coming from, is someone trying to extrapolate overall performance based on the numbers from this one test? In any event...
So, as I said, lets ignore that and assume the TSMC phones perform better. Guess what, that doesn't matter.
What it comes down to is do all of the phones meet Apple's specs? If they do, TSMC phones exceeding specs would be a bonus for those that happen to get one but it isn't like the Samsung phones are defective products.
Entitlement mentality is everywhere these days.
